Membership

Membership in the Wesleyan Church is both a calling and a privilege. It is an opportunity for believers to publicly affirm their faith in Jesus Christ, commit to His mission, and join a community dedicated to growing in holiness and advancing God’s Kingdom.
As Wesleyans, we believe that following Christ is a journey of spiritual transformation—one in which God continually shapes our character, deepens our love for others, and empowers us for service. Membership invites us to participate fully in this journey alongside fellow believers who encourage, support, and challenge one another in the faith.
By becoming members, individuals commit themselves to:
  • Grow in Christlike character, pursuing a life of holiness through the grace of God.
  • Participate in the life and ministry of the church, using their gifts to serve, teach, lead, and care for others.
  • Support the mission of the church through prayer, involvement, generosity, and personal witness.
  • Promote unity and love within the body of Christ, seeking reconciliation, humility, and mutual support.
  • Live out the gospel in daily life, sharing Christ’s hope with their families, workplaces, and communities.
Membership is not simply a status—it is a partnership in the work God is doing in and through His church. It affirms that we belong to one another, that we share a common mission, and that together we seek to “love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love our neighbor as ourselves.”
At its core, membership is a declaration: We commit ourselves to Christ, to His church, and to the mission of making disciples who reflect the hope and holiness of Jesus.
