What is Release Time Bible School?
During the school year, children from the Merrill and Hemlock Public School Districts are invited to participate in Release Time Bible School. Classes are typically held on the second Wednesday of each month from October through April and last for one hour. This year, students will take part in a series led by Pamela Hales titled “What God Says!” This engaging series focuses on the Bible and helps students understand what God says and how His Word applies to their lives. To attend Release Time Bible School, students simply need a signed permission slip on file with their school office. To meet the requirement of being held off public-school property, Merrill Community School buses transport students to Merrill Wesleyan Church (MWC), located at 3765 N. Chapin Rd., Merrill, MI 48637,
where the monthly Bible lesson takes place.
Release Time Bible School is available for Merrill Elementary students in 1st–5th grade and Hemlock Elementary students in 1st–4th grade.
